So we just got back from the MOST amazing Holy Week trip to Davao, and I just HAD to share all the details with you!
We stayed at Acacia Hotel Davao from April 16 to 26, 2025, and let me tell you—it was exactly what our family needed!
Perfect Location for Everything!
The location? AMAZING! 🌟
Acacia Hotel is seriously in the perfect spot. We could easily pop over to SM Lanang Davao or Robinsons Cybergate whenever we wanted to do some shopping. And the restaurants and cafes nearby? So many options when we wanted to explore outside the hotel!
Being so close to everything made our Holy Week celebration with family super convenient. No long car rides with cranky kids—just quick trips to wherever we needed to go!
Our Cozy Room
We booked a Deluxe Twin room for our stay, and it worked out perfectly for our family!
My little one and I got creative and made a comfy little floor nest using the blanket and comforter we brought from home. The kids thought it was like a fun sleepover every night!haha
Sometimes you gotta think outside the box as a mama, right? And honestly, those floor snuggles with my youngest became one of my favorite parts of our trip! 💕
The Breakfast Buffet That Had Us Coming Back for More!
OMG the FOOD at this hotel! 🍳🥞
Their buffet breakfast was seriously to die for! Every morning we had so many yummy options to choose from:
Freshly baked bread that was still warm? Check! Fluffy pancakes that my kids couldn’t get enough of? Double check! The cutest little cupcakes? Yes please! French toast that melted in your mouth? Absolutely!
They even had all the Filipino breakfast faves—champorado, dried fish, and the most perfect chicken adobo!
And the FRUITS! So fresh and colorful—exactly what you need to feel energized for a day of family adventures!
I love that there was something for everyone in our family—even my picky eater found plenty to enjoy!
Pool Time = Best Time!
The pool at Acacia Hotel was our family’s FAVORITE part of the whole trip! 🏊♀️
The water temperature? Absolutely perfect—not too cold, not too hot! And mama, let me tell you about their separate shallow pool for the kids… total GAME CHANGER!
We ended up swimming there every single day of our trip because the kids just couldn’t get enough! Those pool moments definitely became our most treasured memories from Holy Week.

This hotel checked ALL my boxes! Everything was super clean (a must for this mama!), and the staff were beyond friendly and helpful.
Will we be back? ABSOLUTELY! This mama has already bookmarked Acacia Hotel Davao for our next family getaway!
