Random Tuesday Thoughts: The One Thing We Can Always Choose

Hey there mama! 👋
It’s Tuesday, and I just want to share some random thoughts because what I read this morning really resonated with me.

It said something like this:

There are things in your life you cannot choose — your parents, where you were born, your height, your race, your natural talents…

But you can always choose your outlook.

And whew. That line stayed with me.

Growing up in a chaotic home

I came from a poor family, and honestly… it was chaotic.

We had a store, so people were always allowed to go in and out of our house. It didn’t feel private. It didn’t feel peaceful. It felt like there was no space to breathe — like no real peace of mind at all.

And you know what’s hard?

When you finally start having a better life, people will judge you.

Like, “Wow ha, she’s acting high now.

As if you’re not allowed to grow.
As if you’re supposed to stay the same forever just because you came from nothing.

And sometimes it makes you think… can we even have a good life?

My promise to myself

Every time we had small fights in the house, every time I was in that situation, I would always tell myself:

“If I build my own family someday, I will try my best to make it as peaceful as possible.”

That’s really been my motto since then.

I want my kids to grow up with boundaries respected.
I want them to have privacy.
I want them to feel safe in their own home — not stressed, not constantly on guard.

Not a perfect life. Just a peaceful one.

The outlook shift that changed everything

Here’s what I learned:

If you want a better day, a better year, a better life… you need to see the world positively.

Not in a fake way. Not in a “ignore the problems” way. But in a way that reminds you:

You still have choices.

When I started thinking like this, my life changed.
It felt like things started falling into place.

Because yes… even if you can’t choose your starting point, you can always choose your outlook.

Even in love, you can choose better

And of course, this mindset affects relationships too.

When you have a positive outlook, you start choosing better — including choosing a good partner.

You can choose a husband who feels like peace, not chaos.
Someone who respects your boundaries and builds with you.

Just my Tuesday reminder, mama

You’re not “acting high” for wanting better.
You’re not wrong for protecting your peace.
You’re not fake for outgrowing your past.

You’re allowed to build a good life.

This is just my random Tuesday thoughts for today.
Thanks for being here, mama.

Love you bye! 💕
